Background & Challenge
The company is a leading player in the robotics industry with mature technology and products, eager to accelerate its international expansion while keeping its technological edge. Management saw the Middle East as one of the most active regions for industrial capital, and the UAE in particular as a gateway for global investors.
Yet the team had long focused on technology and the domestic market. It was unfamiliar with the Gulf capital ecosystem, the priorities of regional investors, and the rhythm of negotiation — from translating a technical story into investor language to reaching the circles that actually make decisions. The team concluded that working with a local partner with Middle East networks would be a safer and faster path.
"Technology is the ticket into the Middle East, but what actually opens the door is understanding how Gulf capital thinks — and a seat across from the decision-makers."
